German prosecutors have raided tax offices of Bavaria to find out who leaked confidential tax records of the Bayern Munich president, Uli Hoeness to the media.
Hoeness has admitted himself to authorities last January that he had not paid taxes on assets hidden in a secret Swiss bank account, according to Reuters.

However, Hoeness will go on trial for tax evasion in March, which the prosecutors have filed last year and the crime could carry a jail sentence of up to five years.
Additionally, the prosecutors in Munich have launched a separate probe into a suspected breach of tax confidentiality following the complaint filed by Hoeness.
The raids proposed that prosecutors are suspecting officials at the Bavarian tax office of leaking the confidential information about Hoeness’s tax records to the media.
