Vistra, a provider of trust, fiduciary and fund administration services, has named Alan Brown and Geoff Weir as its new group CEO and CFO, respectively.
The pair will take on their new roles next month and operate out of Hong Kong.
At the same time, the duo will sit on the firm’s board. The appointments are pending regulatory nod.
Brown joins from Scottish oil and gas firm ASCO Group, where he served as the CEO.
He also worked for 25 years at Unilever, initially holding several positions in the UK and Europe.
He later led Unilever’s China and Taiwan businesses.

Weir most recently served as the CFO at Sinar Mas in Indonesia.
He also had stints at Scotts Philips Associates, Exridge, and Digicel, where he held similar roles.
Meanwhile, the firm’s executive chairman Simon Hinshelwood will resume his position of non-executive chairman on the board.
“I am confident that Alan and Geoff’s strong track record and expertise will enable Vistra to achieve its continuing growth ambitions and I look forward to working with them both,” Hinshelwood noted.
Vistra currently operates in 46 jurisdictions with a headcount of over 4,300.
