
Banque Transatlantique, a French private bank owned by Credit Mutuel-CM11, is set to introduce a discretionary and advisory wealth management business in the UK in January 2018.
The new offerings will be developed through regulated third-party funds from global equities, government bonds, credit and alternative asset classes as well as strategies.
The bank has appointed Robert Jeffree to lead the new business in the role of CIO. Jeffree, who will be based in London, most recently served as the CIO of C. Hoare & Co.
His investment management career spans over two decades and includes stints at HSBC Asset Management, McKinsey, and New Star.
