Former UBS advisers Timothy Kneen and Clayton Hartman have launched a new independent wealth management firm with offices in Denver, Colorado, Fort Collins, Colorado, and Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The new firm, IFM Capital Advisors, has been launched through Focus Connections, a program of New York-based Focus Financial Partners, an international partnership of independent wealth management firms.

By GlobalDataThrough the three offices, IFM intends to serve an array of clients including institutional, family office, and ultra-high-net-worth (HNW) clients.
According to Focus Financial, IFM will provide investment management and financial planning to HNW individuals, family office clients and institutions, and wealth transition services including business succession and philanthropic planning.
Focus Financial said that Kneen will be responsible for managing the Denver office of IFM, while Hartman will be responsible for managing the Fort Collins office.
Additionally, former South Dakota State Senator Tom Dempster will join the team to manage the firm’s Sioux Falls office.
Commenting on the launch, Hartman said: "Through the launch of IFM Capital Advisors, they know we will continue to enhance our offering of a full range of planning and investment services that are highly customized to meet their needs."
