Finantix a global provider of enterprise solutions in WealthTech, RegTech and InsurTech has acquired smartfolios, an Asian firm that creates quant-enabled investment tools supporting all the key stages of the digital advisory value chain.
Finantix said the acquisition will prompt it to combine its enterprise-grade technology and its recent implementation of AI with smartfolios quantitative analysis solutions.
This will help it “a wealth platform with a breadth of features and real-time thematic-style analytics.”
Finantix provides end-to-end digital wealth advisory services and hybrid robo-advice to private banks and insurers in more than 40 markets.
Finantix and smartfolios will apply quantitative analysis to provide an engine that caters to a number of investment processes. These include: strategy building, robo-personalised portfolios, house view distribution, advanced analytics and continuous portfolio fine tuning. The technology will support an extensive product taxonomy and provide real-time thematic-style analysis.
