Fidelity International has named Romain Boscher as its new global CIO for equities, effective from 30 April 2018.
He will succeed Dominic Rossi, who is stepping down to focus on public policy at the firm.
Boscher will be based in London and report to the company’s global head of asset management, Bart Grenier. He will also join Fidelity International’s global operating committee.
Grenier said: “Romain is an investor with an exceptional track record. He has worked at a global level, running large teams and delivering exceptional performance for many years. Our equities franchise is a significant part of our business and we are passionate about delivering great active returns for our clients.
“I am delighted to welcome someone of such calibre into the company and I know that our equities franchise will continue to thrive and develop for the benefit of our clients under his leadership.”
He is joining Fidelity from Amundi where he is head of equities platform since the last seven years.
