Investment management services provider Fidelity International has appointed Anne Richards as its new CEO.
Richards will assume new responsibility from December 2018 replacing Brian Conroy, who was the company’s president leading all the operations outside the US.
Currently the CEO of M&G Investments, Richards will directly report to the Fidelity International chairman Abigail Johnson.
Commenting on the new appointment, Johnson said: “Anne will assume responsibility for Fidelity International at an important time in its near-50 year history.
“Our ambitions to broaden and deepen our relationship with our clients; innovate in product development and solutions design; and to continue to develop our investment platform and Workplace Investing businesses have never been greater.”
Richards, who has more than 26 years of experience in the asset management industry, previously worked with multiple global names in the financial services sector as an analyst, portfolio manager and CIO.

In the new role, Richards will be responsible for product development and expansion of the company’s investment platform and Workplace Investing businesses.
