eVestment, a provider of data and analytics platforms to institutional investing community, has appointed Katey Bogue as its new head of private markets.
In her new role, she will spearhead the growth and development of eVestment’s private markets solutions including expanding the company’s private markets database.
Additionally, she will be responsible for growing the company’s market intelligence, analytics and due diligence solutions for private markets general and limited partners.
Bogue is joining eVestment from Nasdaq, which acquired eVestment in October last year for $705m. She was head of alternatives for Nasdaq Private Market.
Commenting on Bogue’s appointment, eVestment co-founder Heath Wilson said: “A key value-driver Nasdaq’s acquisition of eVestment was the opportunity to share knowledge and expertise to allow our companies to better serve the institutional investment community.
“Katey joins eVestment with a wealth of knowledge and experience in private markets and the investment business. We’re really excited about bringing eVestment’s and Nasdaq’s strengths together to offer solutions and services to the fast-growing private markets business.”
Before Nasdaq, Bogue worked with alternatives investment firm The Carlyle Group for a period of 12 years during which she held several management positions in Investor Services, Fund Management and Finance divisions.
Prior to joining The Carlyle Group, she was as a senior associate with KMPG.
