Advisor Xi has over 800 independent RIAs on the web-based platform that manages over $500bn in assetsand over 1 million client accounts.

The first phase of the integration between Tamarac and CAIS is currently available to advisors, the companies said in a press release.

Under the partnership, advisors can log into the CAIS portal via single-sign-on access within the Tamarac platform, allowing then to conduct electronic fund transactions on CAIS’ products.

The collaboration will also enable advisors to benefit from enhanced reporting, through Advisor Xi, on alternative investment funds from the CAIS platform.

Funds on the CAIS platform undergo independent due diligence by Mercer, and are available through CAIS at lower investment minimums.

The integration will allow advisors to obtain Mercer due diligence reports on the hedge funds and private equity funds available on the CAIS platform, along with commentaries and other educational content about the overall alternative investment marketplace.

Additionally, CAIS will aloes provide services such as integrated custodial reporting and electronic subscription processing.
