EFG International has opened two new offices in Gstaad and St Moritz as part of its efforts to expand client coverage and boost its presence in Switzerland.
The bank has been welcoming clients in these locations since the beginning of 2024.
In addition, EFG has appointed Manuel Blanco as head of private banking Gstaad and Greater Berne area and Stephen Uebersax has head of private banking St Moritz and Engadin.
Both local business heads will report to Franco Polloni, head of Switzerland and Italy region of EFG.
In addition, establishing a local presence in two of Switzerland’s most prestigious tourist locations will enable EFG to stay close to wealthy Swiss and international clients.
Furthermore, in both Gstaad and St Moritz, EFG has the goal of serving HNW and UHNW clients either in Switzerland or in countries where the firm has longstanding experience.

In September 2023, to further solidify its position in Israel, EFG International announced the launch of a financial service office, as well as the formation of a local subsidiary called EFG wealth management (Israel).
Additionally, Joseph Wolf, has been named CEO of EFG wealth management (Israel), who will report to Franco Polloni, head of EFG’s Switzerland & Italy region.
