Swiss private bank EFG International has launched a new onshore business in Chile following the receipt of all regulatory approvals.
The Chile office, which operates in the country with a local brokerage license, will deliver clients a combination of local as well as global wealth management services.

This move reflects EFG’s commitment to expand its presence in the Latin America market.
The bank has hired Benjamin Hughes and Gonzalo Ferrer as managing partners for the new business.
EFG International offers private banking and asset management services. EFG’s group of private banking businesses operates in nearly 30 locations worldwide with approximately 2,200 employees.
