Swiss private bank EFG International has appointed Philippe Bruyère as its new head of private banking, Geneva.

In the new role, Bruyère will succeed Louis Platteau, who will now be responsible for development of his own portfolio of clients and management of the Independent Asset Managers segment.
Bruyère will report to Adrian Kyriazi, the firm’s CEO, continental Europe and private banking head, Switzerland.
Bruyère’s career includes various finance and business management roles across different sectors such as travel and financial services.
He previously served at Credit Suisse, where he held the position of market group head of Russia, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, Israel and Greece, based in Geneva, since 2010.
