Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management has appointed Marie Jacot-Cardoen as its global head of distribution.
Jacot-Cardoen will also sit on the global asset management executive committee and report to Christophe Caspar, global CEO asset management.
Her target is to roll out the asset management division’s commercial strategy across all geographies. In addition, she will have to promote all liquid and real asset investment offers. She will also help expand the responsible investment range among all asset management clients.
Jacot-Cardoen has spent most of her career at Goldman Sachs where she headed investment solution distribution for Goldman Sachs Asset Management in several European countries. Her job involved marketing a broad range of traditional and alternative investment solutions to institutional clients, banking networks, private banks, family offices and investment companies.
According to the firm, “her international experience will help reinforce Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management’s presence across
Europe and create new strategic partnerships with a global reach”.
Caspar said: “Marie Jacot-Cardoen’s appointment is a perfect fit for the Asset Management division’s growth strategy. Her dynamism and field experience will prove very valuable in increasing Edmond de Rothschild’s presence with target clients for both listed investments and real assets.”
