Aniruddha Kekatpure has been appointed head of research at Edelweiss Mutual Fund. Kekatpure is an accomplished expert with more than 20 years of extensive experience in asset management and the financial services sector.
A comprehensive equity investment team of over 15 members currently manages funds for Edelweiss Mutual Fund in both factor investing and equities.
As of 30 June 2024, the equity and hybrid Asset Under Management (AUM) across various strategies has doubled in the previous two years, totalling approximately Rs. 53,000 crores.
This increased staff has strengthened and prepared the Asset Management Company (AMC) for future expansion. Over 15 lakh investors have invested in EMF’s well-diversified offerings, bringing the total AUM to more than Rs. 1.35 lakh crore as of 30 June 2024.
Moreover, Kekatpure joins EMF following a long tenure with JM Financial, where he was a part of the core fund management team.
He covered an array of sectors, with a key area on consumption and financial services, and spearheaded strategy and macro research.
