Edelman Financial Services, an independent financial planning and investment management firm, is moving to the Envestnet wealth management platform.
Edelman Financial Services will equip its financial planners with Envestnet’s suite of capabilities to support the Edelman Managed Asset Program (EMAP), the company said. EMAP has more than $21bn AuM.
Edelman Financial Services’ chief executive, Ryan Parker, said: “Envestnet will help us grow sustainably while ensuring we continue delivering outstanding service and advice to our current clients.
“The platform will allow us to create a more integrated, seamless client experience, building upon our 30-year commitment to putting our clients first.”
Parker also emphasised the firm’s focus on technology to enhance client experience. He highlighted the recent publication of Truth About your Future written by the company’s founder and executive chairman, Ric Edelman.
The book focuses on how exponential technology will impact personal finance.
John Phoenix, Envestnet’s managing director of advisory services, said: “Research has shown that firms who leverage advanced technology integration serve more clients and are able to focus more on building stronger client relationships.
“Our integrated technology will enable Edelman’s financial planners to provide truly client-focused wealth management.”
