Duncan Lawrie Private Bank has appointed Byron Coombs as its chief executive officer replacing Matthew Parden, who leaves after seventeen years.
Coombs has over thirty years of experience in the field. For the last two years, he held non-executive roles at Deutsche Bank and Coutts after having left an executive role at RBS Wealth Management in 2012.
Peter Field, non-executive director, said: "We are proud to announce that someone of Byron’s calibre will be coming on board at Duncan Lawrie. His wealth of experience in leadership, banking, investment management and looking after clients will stand us in excellent stead for the future."
