Diego Gradowczyk built a strong reputation in Emerging Markets, gaining recognition from his peers and
investors. He has over 24 years of experience working in risk management, trading and investment
management. He ran the Barclays Capital EM Trading team for 9 years, an emerging markets trading
franchise that was ranked #1 by Greenwich, Orion and Eleonora Surveys in 2009 and 2010. Previously,
Diego was a Partner at Compass Group LLC, a dedicated EM Asset Manager, and ran the Compass Income
Fund from 1997 to 2001. Diego was Co-Chair of EMTA (Emerging Markets Traders Association) from 2009-
2010 and a Director from 2002. In addition, Diego has been actively involved as a private equity investor in
several successful ventures, including Casas Uru, an Uruguayan low income housing developer.
Pedro Chomnalez has 22 years of investment banking experience in the US, Latin America and Emerging
Markets. For more than 8 years, Pedro was the Head of Latin American Investment Banking at Credit
Suisse, and, during the past 2 years, the Co-Head of Global Emerging Markets. Under his leadership, Credit
Suisse consistently grew its business and client footprint in Latin America and Emerging Markets,
consolidating a market-leading award winning franchise. Previously, Pedro worked in private equity for
Credit Suisse’s International Merchant Banking Fund. Pedro has a very meaningful network of close
relationships across Sovereign Wealth Funds, Corporations and Ultra High Net Worth families, primarily in
Latin America and Europe. From 1991 to 1999, Pedro worked at Lehman Brothers in Investment Banking.
