NetXposure has released a new version 7.0 of NetX, its comprehensive suite of enterprise digital asset management (DAM) solutions.
NetX 7.0 represents a comprehensive and significant advance in DAM functionality, with the addition of valuable new features including Customized Brand Portals, Multi-Channel Publishing, an Ad Builder that enables browser-based editing of Adobe InDesign templates, and enhanced Creative Workflows for Adobe Creative Suite users–all accessed through an entirely new, lightning-fast, highly intuitive and visually elegant HTML5 interface with full tablet and mobile functionality.
NetX 7.0’s HTML5 framework offers end-users the fastest and cleanest enterprise level Digital Asset Management experience to date (including the ability to personalize the look and feel of the interface through custom skins and interfaces), while expanding its core strategic functionality for marketing communications teams that leverage DAM as a platform. NetX 7.0 also satisfies an increasingly mobile workforce’s need for full tablet and mobile functionality, while at the same time introducing a steady stream of enhanced workflow features aimed at making the DAM even easier to use.
"This is one of our most ambitious releases to date. It represents a convergence of initiatives drawing on direct feedback from across our wide customer base, and offering comprehensive suite of solutions for the enterprise DAM marketplace," said Jason Wehling, President and CTO of NetXposure Inc.

By GlobalDataIt’s been a common goal for many Digital Asset Managers to enable Brand-specific presentation of assets in a tailored web portal. Now NetX clients can launch beautiful, customized Brand Portals for all assets managed within it. The end-user sees a dynamic, modern brand experience, always consistent with a client’s messaging and feel. NetX Brand Portals allow companies to develop and manage their branded digital assets in an Enterprise DAM, while distributing selected collections in a dedicated and controlled environment.
Multi Channel Publishing ~ Makes Using a DAM as a Central Syndicating Hub a Reality
It is a widely emerging best practice to utilize a DAM platform as a central "system of record" for digital assets and associated data. While NetX has always enabled multi-channel publishing, NetX 7.0, with newly updated APIs, makes comprehensive integration with external systems easier than ever, and makes using a DAM as a central hub that syndicates assets to multiple end points a reality.
-Ad Builder ~ Makes Adobe InDesign Templates Editable in All Web Browsers.
Marketers, managers, and creatives share a common goal, which is to simplify the production of marketing collateral. The new NetX Ad Builder module makes Adobe InDesign templates editable in all web browsers. Once the templates are created and approved, web users are able to customize marketing materials, such as brochures, banner ads, circulars etc., within their browsers. Design staff have complete control over every aspect of the creative output, and simply designate text and image areas that web users can modify to produce their own print and digital output.
Creative Workflows ~ Faster Performance and Improved Controls for Adobe Creative Suite Users
NetX has always been tightly coupled with Adobe Creative Suite, and the NetX DAM functions as the central hub for increasingly large creative workflows around the world. NetX 7.0 introduces a new version of NetX Connect, its Adobe Creative Suite integrated panel. This latest version offers faster performance and improved controls for Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Illustrator users. Design teams now have the option of setting up a shared cache of work in progress (WIP) assets: this increases productivity and prevents multiple users from having to pull down linked assets to make last minute changes on INDD files.
