British financial advisory firm deVere Group has unveiled plans to open its first office in Austria on 1 September 2017.
The new office will be located in Fleischmarkt, Vienna, and will be led by the group’s consultant David Mihelic.
Mihelic will be assisted by the group’s another consultant James Stratford. The pair will report to deVere Italia head Colin Eldridge.
“Having built a successful operation in Italy the next obvious step is to move into Austria where we see huge potential for growth. Austria is an important financial centre and home to a large number of international companies, and has a high number of expats and international investors who are looking for our specialist cross-border financial advice to help them achieve their long-term financial objectives,” Eldridge said.
In addition, Eldridge also announced plans to appoint 10 consultants as well as support staff within the next 12 to 18 months to meet the demand of the market.
The launch of the Austrian office forms part of the group’s expansion plans across Western Europe. Earlier this month, the group also reopened offices in Madrid, Spain as part of this strategy.
