Deutsche Bank Wealth Management has strengthened its advisory teams for Russian and Eastern European (REE) clients with two senior advisers.

 Vasiliy Sofiyskiy has joined Deutsche Bank Wealth Management as head of the key clients team in Zurich.

He reports to the head of wealth management REE, Loïc Voide. Sofiyskiy is an experienced private banker with more than 25 years of investment practice in Russia, the US and Switzerland.

Sofiyskiy held senior positions in wealth management for UHNW clients among others at Cantor Fitzgerald in New York and London, Sberbank in Moscow and recently Credit Suisse in Zurich and Moscow.

Anastasia Borel will lead the team for REE clients in Luxemburg. Borel has been in banking for 15 years and held several senior positions in private banking in Russia and Luxemburg. She headed private banking operations at Raiffeisenbank Russia and most recently at ING Bank in Luxemburg.

The build-up of the REE client team is part of Deutsche Bank Wealth Management’s plans to grow its business by intensifying client engagement and by providing advice for clients, their families and businesses.
