Luis Ojeda is to head up Deutsche Bank’s asset and wealth management business in Spain and Portugal. Ojeda’s previous role at Deutsche was a head of private wealth management for southern Europe, a role he’s held since 2010.

With more than 20 years in the organisation, Ojeda will be also part of the executive committee in Spain.

Headed globally by Michele Faissola, Deutsche asset and wealth management unit (AWM) was created in June 2012 aimed at developing efficiency in clients’ services providing customised services to high net worth individuals and families and well as institutions and financial intermediaries.

The division combines different assets management areas, including DWS Investments, RREEF real estate and infrastructure, X-markets, db x-trackers and wealth management.

Antonio Losada, responsible for the wealth management for Spain and Portugal, and Pedro Dañobeitia, responsible for the asset management for Spain, Portugal and Latin America, will continue with their current duties.
