Deutsche Bank is planning to launch a new global technology center in Romania by the end of June to support its operations.
The new center in Bucharest will initially employ 100 software specialists by mid-2014 and the bank expects to expand the workforce further by 500 employees by 2016.
The will global technology center will be headed by Marian Popa and will develop software applications for the bank.
In his new role, Popa will manage the organization and development of the fourth global center for technology of Deutsche Bank.
Popa with 30-year experience at IT&C companies in Romania and Europe has previously served as CEO the operations of Endava in CEE region from 2004 to 2012, a green field project developed from 40 to 800 employees, distributed in four centers in CEE region.
