German banking major Deutsche Bank has launched an innovation lab in Lower Manhattan’s Fulton Center in New York City.
The lab will explore new technologies in a range of areas such as artificial intelligence, cloud technology and cyber security.

Deutsche Bank previously opened similar labs in Berlin, London and Silicon Valley. The bank said that all these labs aim to help it assess and adopt emerging technologies.
Deutsche Bank head of innovation Elly Hardwick said: “We want to make Deutsche Bank the first stop for start-ups. Through our global network of innovation labs, we are combining fresh ideas from fintechs with the scale and infrastructure of a global bank.”
