Deutsche Bank Asset & Wealth Management (DeAWM) has appointed Venkatesh Narasiah as chief operating officer (COO) for its Asia-Pacific unit.

Narasiah will report globally to Jon Eilbeck, global COO DeAWM, and regionally to Ravi Raju, head of DeAWM, Asia-Pacific.

Previously Narasiah was sub-market head for Australia, Japan and India in Deutsche Bank’s private wealth management division (PWM), Asia-Pacific.

He joined Deutsche Bank in 2007 as COO, PWM Asia-Pacific, and later held various senior roles in the division, which was subsequently merged with Deutsche Asset Management to become DeAWM. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Narasiah spent 20 years with Citibank.
