Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (DeAWM) has hired Philip Poole as their new head of research.

Based in London, Poole will report to DeAWM’s co-chief investment officers, Randy Brown and Asoka Wöhrmann, and be responsible for the macro research conducted by DeAWM’s chief investment office.

Poole worked for over five years at HSBC Group prior to gaining the job. Most recently, he was global head of macro & investment strategy at HSBC Global Asset Management.
