DBS has launched a financial planning centre known as NAV Hub at Tanjong Pagar, Singapore, to offer free personalised financial planning services to consumers.
The new facility, part of a financial planning initiative known as NAV – Your Financial GPS, will hold advisory sessions to help consumers gain insight into their existing financial health and financial goals and help them understand how to meet targets.
Consumers can also avail financial planning classes carried out at the hub by industry experts every month, the bank said. However, the financial planning sessions will not aim to sell financial products.
DBS Singapore head of financial planning group Brandon Lam said: “We designed ‘NAV – Your Financial GPS’ as an interactive concept for young adults to fully understand their financial health and make concrete plans to work towards their financial goals. These could be conversations on buying their first homes, getting married, raising children, growing their money or retiring comfortably.
“The ‘NAV Hub’ provides a relaxed environment for these conversations to take place and we are committed to be their trusted partner on their financial planning journeys.”
