Cutter Associates has acquired Swiss wealth management research firm MyPrivateBanking.

MyPrivateBanking specialises in providing reports and deep benchmarking of trends in the wealth industry.

Under the terms of the acquisition, MyPrivateBanking’s research and content library will migrate into Cutter Associates’ wealth management research and insights offering Cutter Wealth.

The company launched Cutter Wealth earlier this year with an aim to assist wealth management firms with research and consulting services.

Additionally, Cutter Wealth enables the customers to connect with industry peers, vendors and research analysts through events. It is led by Gina McCafferty who first joined the firm in 1999.

The acquisition is expected to support Cutter Associates with the changing landscape in wealth management industry amidst the introduction of new technology and innovation.

Cutter CEO James Bridgers said: “Cutter Associates has always focused on providing deep-dive research on technological and operational issues for the buy-side.

“The launch of Cutter Wealth is a natural extension of our current business and provides full end-to-end analysis to help wealth management organizations navigate the digital age.

“With the addition of MyPrivateBanking to our platform, we are excited to provide our customers expansive, global research and insights to help them make future-focused business decisions.”
