Cresset Asset Management, a US-based advisory business founded by private equity entrepreneurs Eric Becker and Avy Stein, has appointed Michael Costabile as its new CFO.
Costabile most recently held a similar position at US-based financial planner Moneta Group.
He previously also served as the CFO and chief human resources officer of health care solutions organisation Intalere as well as had a stint at Arthur Andersen.
At the same time, he sits on the board of nonprofit art centre Craft Alliance Center of Art + Design. Earlier, he was on the board of the Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project.
Cresset also appointed Dave Jackson as its first chief experience officer.
In the new capacity, Jackson will be responsible for spearheading the firm’s initiatives in developing positive client experiences.

By GlobalDataJackson formerly held the role of a principal at Evanston Advisors. Managing over $500m in assets, Evanston was purchased by Cresset in March this year.
Cresset also acquired Cypress Wealth Advisors in 2019, adding another $500m to its books.
