Swiss banking group Credit Suisse has appointed Khalid Al Ghamdi as the new CEO for its business in Saudi Arabia, reported Reuters.
Al Ghamdi is said to assume the new responsibility next month.
He will join from Mizuho Saudi Arabia, where he holds the role of managing director.
Previously, he spent more than 13 years at GIB Capital, latterly as the acting CEO and head of investment banking.
None of the parties commented on the appointment.
Notably, Credit Suisse received Saudi banking licence earlier this year.
