Credit Suisse Asset Management has entered into a long-term credit research partnership with research firm Lucror Analytics.

“In a low-yield environment, the importance of emerging-market and non-investment-grade corporate bonds to global fixed-income investors has increased, as has the need for highly specialized credit analysis,” Credit Suisse said in a statement.

Lucror, which specialises in corporate high-yield markets in Europe, Asia and Latin America, offers ts services and analysis through a bespoke and exclusive research platform.

Credit Suisse Asset Management fixed income head Luc Mathys said: “We are very pleased to have secured the capabilities of Lucror Analytics to support our team. The partnership will help us capture additional investment opportunities, especially for our award-winning Asia, Emerging Market and Global Credit & Convertibles corporate bond business, which is growing significantly.”

Lucror Analytics CEO Madhav Kapadia said: “Lucror is very excited about the strategic alliance, as it combines best-in-class asset management with leading independent credit research expertise. The decision by such an esteemed fixed-income asset manager to incorporate Lucror’s research into its investment process is evidence of our strong position as an independent voice in the credit markets.”
