Investment bank Scenic Advisement has appointed Jane Leung as the CIO to spearhead its wealth management arm.
Leung will be responsible for managing Scenic Advisement Wealth, which combines public-market and private-market investments.
Leung most recently served at BlackRock/iShares, where she was head of Asia Pacific iShares and Index Equity. She also served as a senior portfolio manager for the firm’s U.S. Equity Index unit.
She previously also had stints at Barclays Global Investors (now BlackRock), Berger & Associates, and Donaldson, as well as Lufkin & Jenrette.
Leung will work alongside Scenic co-founder Michael Sobel, and Peter Christiansen. Sobel headed equity trading, fixed income and prime brokerage platforms at BlackRock, while Christiansen spent over 17 years at BlackRock.
“During more than 20 years in investment management, Jane has gained deep knowledge of complex asset classes and the management of them. We welcome Jane to head up our Wealth Management division, which leverages our private company investment banking expertise and provides further support to company founders and employees,” Sobel said.
