Secondaries manager Coller Capital has expanded its global footprint by establishing a new office in Singapore, aiming to meet the needs of the institutional and private wealth investor bases in Southeast Asia.
Peter Wu takes on the role of head of product management, private wealth, joined by two local investor relations colleagues, collaborating with the private wealth secondaries solutions (PWSS) team.
Wu, who earlier worked at Partners Group and BDO, will be based in the city-state for the new role.
Coller Capital’s Singapore team will focus on marketing funds to institutional and private wealth investors through licenced intermediaries such as private banks.
The firm’s PWSS team was launched in 2023 to provide wealth investors with access to a diversified portfolio in the private equity and private credit secondaries market.
Coller Capital Asia and RMB head Peter Kim said: “The Southeast Asian market presents significant opportunities for our business, with a growing appetite for secondaries among institutional LPs and private wealth investors.
