Citi Private Bank has named Kristen Bitterly Michell as the new capital markets head for its Americas business.
Based in New York, Michell will manage asset allocation, product advice, as well as execution across capital markets in Americas.
She will report to the firm’s global head of capital markets Iain Armitage in the new role.
Michell most recently held the role of investment counselor head for the Eastern Region at Citi Private Bank, and formerly was the firm’s capital markets head of structured solutions.
She previously also had stints at Credit Suisse, where she headed structured product sales to Latin American investors, and at JPMorgan, where she offered structured derivative solutions to private investor clients.
“Under Kristen’s experienced leadership, we will bring together the best execution capabilities and investment opportunities for our clients. This is an exciting time for the Investments team in the Private Bank as we continue to grow assets under management and ever improve our client service,” Armitage noted.
