Citi Private Bank (CPB) has appointed David Poole, formerly the global market manager for CPB UK, in the newly created role of head of strategic client segments EMEA.
Focusing on the bank’s target ultra high net worth (UHNW) market, Poole will be responsible of developing business plans for each segment through targeted account planning, product development, bespoke marketing materials, specialist events and banker and partner education forums.
Poole joined Citi in 2006 with the responsibility for business development in CPB UK and was appointed as global market manager for the UK Market Region in 2009.
Following Poole’s appointment, Jeremy Knowland has taken on the role of global market manager for CPB UK. Knowland joined Citi in 2005 and has been a UK Banker Team Leader since 2011.
