British wealth manager Charles Stanley has strengthened its intermediary and charities team with the appointments of Glenn Baker and Robert Winterton.
Baker has been appointed as business development director, with responsibility for advising professional advisers including lawyers, accountants and trustees on financial planning, investment and inheritance tax mitigation.
He most recently served as the business development director at Kleinwort Hambros, a role he held for five years. He previously also worked at Schroders Private Bank.
Winterton has been appointed as the business development executive, with responsibility for building relationships with trustees, consultants as well as professional intermediaries in the charity sector.
He most recently served as the head of sales and business development at Asset Match. His financial career of over three decades also includes stints at Morgan Grenfell, BZW, Banque Paribas and Nordic investment bank ABG Sundal Collier.
