Private equity firm CBPE Capital has invested in Perspective Financial Group, a UK-based financial planner and wealth adviser.
CBPE will collaborate with Perspective’s management who will re-invest in the firm to drive its expansion through takeovers and organic growth.

Perspective group managing director Ian Wilkinson said: “In CBPE we have found a partner that will help us accelerate our organic and acquisitive growth strategy.”
The move secured the go-ahead from the UK’s financial watchdog Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
CBPE director Richard Thompson said: “Perspective is a great business with a strong management team, robust compliance approach and a respected and increasingly high-profile brand.
“We have been hugely impressed with the strength of the team, but also their absolute focus on the client. We believe this quality is key to the success of Perspective.

Perspective provides advice related to retirement planning, investment, inheritance tax planning, personal wealth as well as corporate planning.
Besides, the wealth adviser delivers investment management services through its Cambridge Investments unit.
The firm has 15 branches and a client base of 18,000. It has staff headcount of more than 180.
