Catalyst, a UK-based financial markets consultancy backed by private equity firm Livingbridge,, has acquired investment management consultancy Knadel for an undisclosed sum.

Knadel, launched in 2009, works with firms having UK, European and global business models. Its offices are located in London as well as Jersey. The firm has worked on 400 projects for more than 120 clients till date.

Catalyst said that the transaction is the first in a line of planned strategic acquisitions and expects the deal to double its revenues in the coming financial year.
