As per the agreement, all Focus partner and affiliated firms will have access to the CAIS platform and will benefit from CAIS’s end-to-end alternatives investment solution.

These services includes proprietary solution that enables its users to eliminate time, effort and expense required to build an internal alternatives platform.

Apart from offering simple access to the best third-party alternative investment products, CAIS also provides independent and fully integrated reporting, open architecture custody support and administration through State Street.

It also delivers operational and investment due diligence, including ongoing monitoring, through its partnership with Mercer Investment Consulting.

Comprising of 23 independent wealth management firms in the US and UK, Focus Financial Partners manages over US$45 billion in assets.

"Our partnership with Focus Financial is further evidence of the growing recognition within the financial services industry that the CAIS alternatives platform provides all the resources independent wealth management firms and private banks need to level the playing field as they compete for clients against larger institutions," said Matthew Brown, CEO and managing principal of CAIS.

Echoing Brown’s views Rudy Adolf, founder and CEO of Focus Financial, commented on the benefits of the partnership and said, "It will empower the Advisors to research and deliver to their clients the appropriate alternative investments available that are consistent with each client’s individual financial goals and needs."
