C. Hoare & Co.announced the appointment of Stuart Cummins as head of wealth management strategy, a newly created role at the bank.
Cummins will be working with Annamaria Koerling, head of wealth management, on the development and implementation of the overall strategy for the division as well as leading the bank’s wealth planning team.

By GlobalDataCummins joins from Barclays Wealth, UK Private Bank, where he was a managing director and a member of the UK & Europe Private Banking Executive Committee. He stepped down his position at Barclays in February 2014 together with other senior executives at the same unit.
Over a 24-year career at Barclays, Cummins has been involved in the wealth management industry for over 10 years and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
The wealth management division at C. Hoare & Co. has grown at over 20% year-on-year with assets under management now at £1.6bn as at 30th June 2014.
Koerling said: "Stuart Cummins’ appointment further deepens the industry experience of the senior management of our Wealth Management division through his leadership of our wealth planning team".
More recently, C Hoare & Co former head of wealth solutions, Roger Clark, left the firm to join UK private bank Brown Shipley as head of wealth management.
