British wealth manager Brooks Macdonald has expanded its UK footprint by opening its first office in Wales.

The new office, located in Cardiff, represent the wealth manager’s thirteenth office across the UK and the Channel Islands.

The facility will be headed by Andrew Lewis, who joins from Brewin Dolphin.

Lewis held the role of divisional director for Cardiff at Brewin Dolphin, where he had a 13-year stint. Prior to that, he was a professional rugby player.

Brooks Macdonald also unveiled plans to hire more investment managers for the new office soon.

Brooks Macdonald managing director Nick Holmes said: “The Wales office opening will mark another significant milestone in the growth of our footprint across the UK as we continue to widen our reach to an expanding client base and strengthen the service we provide to clients and professional advisers in the area.”
