
British wealth manager Brooks Macdonald has appointed Stewart Sanderson as its senior investment director.
Sanderson most recently worked at 7IM, where he spent seven years as a managing director.
He also had a stint at Coutts as a director and team head within the wealth management unit.
“We continue to invest in our existing talent and make selective high quality hires, and we are delighted to announce that Stewart Sanderson joins us today (6 July) as a Senior Investment Director in our London Office,” noted a spokesperson from the firm.
Recently, the firm also appointed Chris Bishun as an investment solutions director. He most recently worked at BlackRock.
Another recent appointment is that of Lynsey Cross, who joined as COO. Cross previously worked at Amtrust International and ANV Group.
Earlier this year, Brooks Macdonald made several management changes after the acquisition of Cornelian Asset Managers Group.
Cornelian CIO Hector Kilpatrick will become the senior investment director of the group CIO team at Brooks Macdonald.
Cornelian MD of Intermediary Business John Jackson will become the director of Products & Propositions at Brooks Macdonald upon deal completion.
Among other changes include Cornelian director of Private Clients & Charities Marcus Brooks taking on the role of senior investment director.
