Brooks Macdonald Asset Management (BMAM) has named Lisa Brown as intermediary sales manager, who will be based out of the company’s London office.

Brown will join the company’s new business development team to increase the support that BMAM offers to professional advisers in London.

Brown joined BMAM in April 2013 and prior to that she worked at Octopus Investments as a strategic partnerships manager for five years.

In her role at Octopus, Brown focused on distribution via important national and network intermediary businesses.

BMAM joint managing director Andrew Shepherd said Brown’s appointment will expand the company’s ability to provide a new level of service to its network of introducing professional advisers.

Shepherd was quoted by IFAonline as saying that "We always look to build closer relationships with professional advisors, and Lisa’s deep understanding of how they work and the support they need will aid us in this goal. I am confident she will make a big impact as part of our growing team."
