Brewin Dolphin, a UK based private client investment manager, has bolstered its business development team in Birmingham with the appointment of Paul Cox as a new business development manager.
In his new role, Cox will be working in the Birmingham office of Brewin Dolphin to promote the company’s investment management services to financial advisers.
With more than two decades of experience in the financial services sector, Cox brings with him a wealth of skills and expertise to assist in growing the firm’s business in Birmingham.
Prior to joining Brewin Dolphin, Cox has previously worked for Quilter as the regional development manager and for Scottish Widows as a senior account manager, where in both roles he was responsible for business development.
Cox said: "They have built a strong and enviable reputation in the Midlands for delivering bespoke investment management services to IFA’s and other professional advisers. Recent research has shown that more Independent Financial Advisers are looking to outsource funds to discretionary fund managers and this is a sector I will be looking to grow at Brewin Dolphin.
"Being based in the Midlands provides a great opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and I look forward to continuing to build on this already impressive client base," Cox added.
