Total fee and other revenue was $2.67bn, compared with negative $2.22bn in the prior-year quarter, which included net securities losses of $4.83bn. GAAP total fee revenue rose to $2.66bn from $2.61bn in 2009.
As on 30 September 2010, BNY Mellon’s assets under custody and administration totaled $24.4 trillion, an increase of 10% from last year.
Securities servicing fees totaled $1.5bn, an increase of 20% year-over-year. Asset and wealth management fees were $696m in the third quarter of 2010.
Foreign exchange and other trading revenue totaled $146m compared with $246m in the prior year period.
