BNY Mellon Wealth Management has appointed William Gibbs as the wealth director for its Seattle, Washington office.

Gibbs will oversee business development efforts associated with mergers and acquisitions as well as business succession planning. He will report to the firm’s regional president James Barnyak in the new role.

Gibbs most recently served as the vice president and financial advisor at Bernstein Private Wealth Management in Seattle, a role he held for five years. He previously also had a stint at Boston Scientific Corporation/Guidant Corporation.
