The company has appointed Daniel Hill and Joseph Russo to its short-term fixed income desk.

According to the company, this move adds more than 40 years of experience to commercial paper and other money market instruments trading team.

Hill served in a number of leadership roles in the money market industry including manager of Merrill Lynch’s global money markets trading and marketing business.

He was involved in a number of products, including all sectors of US and Euro commercial paper, bank CDs, bank notes and asset-backed medium-term notes.

Russo held senior positions at Landesbank Baden-Wuertemberg’s New York branch, where he served as head of money markets and foreign exchange trading, and Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria’s New York branch, where he was head of money markets and trading.
