BNP Paribas has announced the appointment of Ravinder Singh as new senior director for BNP Paribas wealth management based in New Delhi, India.
Singh re-joined BNP Paribas wealth management India in early August with more than 15 years experience in wealth management in north India. Prior to this, Singh was director and head of Barclays Wealth in north India, where he developed the Barclays franchise for the past five years. He spent eight years in BNP Paribas and was with HSBC and Citi for four years previously.
Singh WILL report to Samir Bimal, global head of India onshore business and managing director and CEO of BNP Paribas investment services India private limited, the BNP Paribas Wealth Management entity in India.
Commenting on the appointment of Singh, Mr Bimal said, "There is an increasing demand for high quality wealth management services in India and we have a strong commitment to develop our India franchise. The appointment of Ravinder will help us reach the next level in north and east India".
