BNP Paribas Securities Services has named Florence Fontan as the new head of the asset manager client segment.
In her new role, Fontan will oversee business strategy, business development, products and services to the custodian bank’s asset manager clients and prospects.
She will report to Charley Cock, head of client development and Philippe Ricard, head of asset and fund services at the bank, which has almost $8trn in assets under custody.
Prior to accepting the current position, Fontan was working as the head of public affairs at BNP Paribas Securities Services since 2007.
She was accountable in assisting the bank to meet regulatory requirements, and helping its clients adapt to the changing environment.
After working for a decade for management consulting at Arthur Andersen, she joined BNP Paribas in 1998.
