BNP Paribas Securities Services has named Diana Senanayake as its new head of Singapore.

Senanayake succeeds Mostapha Tahiri, who has been named as the firm’s head of institutional investors and digital transformation for Asia-Pacific.

As head of the Singapore securities services team, Senanayake will focus on building operations for clients and deepening relationships with new and existing clients.

Senanayake joins from RBC Investor and Treasury Services, where she has been working since 2005.

At RBC Investor and Treasury Services, she most recently served as the managing director for global client coverage.

BNP Paribas Securities Services head of Asia Pacific Philippe Benoit said: “Diana’s appointment comes as our custody business marks ten years operating in Asia Pacific. During this time we have grown significantly and established a robust client franchise, which Diana will help to develop and continually improve.”

In the new role, Senanayake will report to Benoit and BNP Paribas CEO for Singapore Pierre Veyres.
