BNP Paribas Securities Services has named Julien Kasparian as the new head of its Hong Kong business, replacing Stephanie Marelle who moved to Paris to assume the role of global head of compliance at the firm.
Kasparian, who has been working at BNP Paribas Securities Services since two decades, will focus on strengthening relationships with new and existing clients in the new role.

He most recently worked at the firm’s London office as the head of sales and global relationship management, UK banks and brokers.
He previously headed the development of back-office outsourcing, clearing and settlement solutions at the firm.
BNP Paribas Securities Services head of Asia Pacific Philippe Benoit said: “Julien’s experience as a leader and his extensive client relationship and operational management provide the ideal platform upon which to build on our existing client partnerships and seize further opportunities in the region.”
